Dragon Ball, racism mention
Just finished my several-months-long campaign of exercycling to Dragon Ball (the entire 153-episode series, unedited/subbed). I'm glad to have this off the bucket list, glad to know the lore, and saw many impressive moments throughout, though I'd PERSONALLY recommend against watching it unless you're OK enduring regrettable depictions of black and first-nations people, occasional creepy fanservice, and numerous extended sequences where averting your eyes is mandatory
- Favorite character: Launch, probably? She's a woman who does things, which in this series is ultra-rare; I like that the Kame House crew learns to accept and live with the aggressive side of her personality in their domestic life.
- There was a point where whenever Oolong appeared on camera I made a point to shout "WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?". At one point several dozen episodes went by without him, only for him to briefly resurface just to lech out at a newscaster
