I've been playing the Osomatsu-san Candy Crush phone game they ported to Switch without the F2P monetization, and it blows my mind that the practice of converting these games to static products with a single up-front price tag isn't more commonplace in the game industry

From what I can tell, they removed the stamina system altogether and made it so every consumable/gacha element is bought with ingame currency. It's definitely Another One Of These, but I'm glad it'll be as available to me as any other console game in ten years
