make furry as strange and unmarketable to advertisers and profiteers as possible
I got a random quest and I realized it wanted me to play fucking TEAM DEATHMATCH in ESO which felt so ridiculous that I tried it. And it was like me, the clueless one, and like 11 other people who were clearly experts at this, probably ESO esports masters all day every day, and it was so weird. And then it gave me a daily reward for doing one match that was like... literally 4 levels and better gear than doing PvE quests?
What the heck is this Battlegrounds thing.
ESO - Morrowind
Like, yes, the Ebonheart Pact legally wiped that stuff away but we all know that means jack shit. People don't stop being shitty just because it's illegal. In a way, that kind of makes it worse, honestly, because if the Dark Elves and Argonians were in different alliances it would at least be easy to go "Hey I'm in this other alliance, don't you guys suck?" and only have to like... write 3 versions of it?
I dunno. It's hard to tackle this stuff in a game, I get it. But still.
ESO - Morrowind
It's probably a lot to ask for the game to go "Oh you're playing an Argonian, maybe there should at least be an acknowledgement that there might be bad blood here" but I want that real bad.
My favorite main story sidequest was one where an Argonian is like "Hey, I need your help killing my former owner from back when I was a slave because she sucks" and I was all "Hell yeah I'll do that" and it ruled. And I wish the story did that sort of thing more often.
ESO - Morrowind
Started the Morrowind expansion after finishing up the Clockwork City last night, and I'm having a lot of pointless feelings about it. I don't really have any nostalgia for Morrowind. All I have is the pointlessly elaborate backstory I wrote for Kyesk. And I feel like she'd be really hesitant to help out the Tribunal with all this Dark Elf business. So I'm kind of feeling odd about the story opening.
SGDQ 2019: Mega Man 3 digital art
EXTRA CREDIT AT LAST, I'm glad I was able to draw at least one more thing for this marathon! (Today they ran Mega Man 3 [my personal favorite], but their Rockman 4 Minus Infinity run was also amazing!)
An important Coaster Weekend Report (Food, Transphobia but it went well)
I had a fun theme park weekend!
I bought MonHun shirts!
I ate an amazing ice cream sandwich made with Dole Whip and wine.
I rode rad coasters. Cheetah Hunt and Cobra's Curse are both amazing. The Snake King is totally someone's kink fursona.
When I was finishing up eating at the park some dude was saying some transphobic shit behind me and I told him the fuck off and I felt good about myself.
So that's what I've been doing.
A Xenoblade 2 update
So there's a weapon in this game called the Bitball and it is just... the most goofy. Like I thought Wakka from FFX looked silly attacking but at least it seemed like his attacks had impact. When I'm using a Bitball Art and the character does a basketball layup at the monster I just can't help but laugh.
Cadence of Hyrule
I'm impressed by the story mode. I think Zelda fans will be at least somewhat happy with it. It does a good job melding the two games. Still, I'm interested in the trying the rougelike mode after I finish. I wonder if that will hit and I do wonder if Zelda fans with no real roguelike background will like it.
